Gamers and movie fans were hyped when they knew YouTubers like MatPat and CoryxKenshin were part of the movie adaptation of the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” game.
However, it seems that they had an opposite reaction when they knew streamers iiTzTimmy and Valkyrae were featured in a brand-new movie starring Mark Wahlberg, which was about partly about a popular game.
Earlier this week, an action comedy film, starring the actor known for his roles in other movies like “The Fighter” and “Transformers,” titled “The Family Plan,” was released on Apple TV+.
“The Family Plan” is about “a former top assassin living incognito as a suburban dad must take his unsuspecting family on the run when his past catches up to him.”
Its cast includes Michelle Monaghan, Zoe Colletti, and Van Crosby, among others.
It also features the popular free-to-play first-person tactical hero shooter by Riot Games, “Valorant.”
However, some viewers are not receiving the movie quite well, especially when they saw how streamers iiTzTimmy and Valkyrae appeared in it.
iiTzTimmy is a professional eSports player, Twitch streamer, and social media personality. His fellow streamer, Valkyrae, is also a YouTuber and the co-owner of the gaming organization 100 Thieves. She has also been the most-watched female streamer on YouTuber since 2020.
For instance, there was a scene in the movie that featured iiTzTimmy playing the game on a PC. See the scene below.
Apparently, some fans are not liking how the streamers appeared in the movie.
“I did the overseeing of the valorant and twitch content, so if anything is wrong you can blame me,” a netizen captioned a tweet that reposted the scene featuring the streamer.
