A sleeping method called the “Scandinavian sleeping method” has been used by some couples for years, and could save your relationship.
While some couples happily married for several years prefer to sleep in different rooms (perhaps due to snoring), others still like the intimacy of sleeping next to each other, providing the opportunity to do cuddles.
Well, the Scandinavian sleeping method works midway. You and your partner can have your own sleeping environment, but still sleep in the same bed.
A sleep expert on TikTok who goes by the handle @levitex said this sleeping method could help save struggling relationships.
Basically, the Scandinavian sleep method has it that each person in the bed has their own duvet.
“It’s an opportunity to have your own sleep environment, whilst not having to go through the sleep divorce of sleeping in separate rooms,” said the sleep expert. “I personally love it because you get to really navigate what you do with your own warmth, without disturbing your partner, and then you both get to stay [in bed.]”
People’s reactions are mixed with regard to whether or not the sleep method works for them.
One said, “We’ve been doing this for years. Got fed up with him hogging the quilt, easier to change the cover too!”
“Myself and my wife have been doing this for years,” another TikToker, Aaron Bernard, commented.
Meanwhile, others like Vicky Vixen believes that divorce is still the “best solution.”
