Charcuteries and canapés are delights that have become a favorite to serve on Christmas. But what if you are presented with their smaller versions? And not just small, but very small.
Some Christmas charcuteries and canapés are making rounds on TikTok lately, and TikTokers couldn’t help but to melt their hearts over them.
Going viral on TikTok now are some Christmas canapés dubbed as “the world’s smallest charcuterie board.” They are inspiring Christmas parties and seemingly everybody is rushing to make them.
A canapé is a tiny piece of bread or pastry that comes with a savory topping, and often served with beverages at parties.
Meanwhile, a charcuterie is a French term for a branch of cooking devoted to preparing meat products – such as ham, bacon, sausage, and confit, among others – primarily from pork. A charcuterie board refers to an appetizer usually served on a wooden board or stone slab.
Instead of a real board, the delights of this TikTok-viral sensation are placed on a tiny salted cracker, but it contains every element you would find in an actual charcuterie spread, which includes cured meat, cheese, fruit, pickles, butter, and a garnish.
“I don’t use the word exquisite often, but this warrants it,” one commenter swooned on what they saw. The videos on the page of the TikToker who started the trend, @cheezestakethewhe, have garnered hundreds of thousands of likes.
“They are gorgeous,” another TikToker named Rebecca commented.
