Many people who work a 9 to 5 job just to earn a living may get offended by this woman who is actually begging people to stream her music as she is “physically incapable” of ever working a job under that time frame.
‘Physically incapable’ for a 9 to 15 job
She voiced her thoughts on her official Instagram account. Her video was captioned, “I think I was made to create (emoji) check out my music under Zoe Wynns on all platforms! #alternativeartist #smallmusician #composer”
“I cannot do a 9 to 5,” Wynns said in her video. “I know this is gonna sound spoiled. It know it is gonna sound like an artsy creative who, you know, just doesn’t want to put in the hard work and hours, but I physically do not think I can do it.”
She added how she starts to cry if she has more than three non-creative tasks in a day.
“Imagining doing eight hours a day of something that I don’t really love for the rest of my life… this has to work,” the musician added.
Whether she said those statements as a gimmick or stunt to promote her music, nobody knows.
According to her profile on the website of an online music company called Songlorious, Wynns hails from North Carolina. She started composing music for the piano as early as 10 years old. She also now majors in Music Composition at the University of North Carolina, aiming to graduate by 2025.
Mixed reactions from the public
Her plea has gained a mix of reactions from the public. Some supported her thoughts, while others told her to get a job.
According to Forbes, it was industrialist and business magnate Henry Ford who created the 9 to 5 job concept to “serve the needs of business titans who ran manufacturing plants that relied upon lots of people standing on assembly lines.”
“So, if you want to listen to my music, and help me [to not literally die], please stream it. I love you guys,” Wynns stated.
