Myth, a live streamer and former professional “Fortnite” Battle Royale player, enjoys his 4.48 million subscribers on his YouTube channel and 5.8 million followers on Instagram. However, that figure was higher than before. But despite that, he remains optimistic.
There is a YouTube documentary circulating online now which shows Myth “falling” in terms of his viewership. He has seen the documentary but, interestingly, he felt positive about it.
Myth’s following has declined after “Fortnite’s” heyday. Many still know him today, of course, but he is not already at the top of the Twitch world like he used to be.
When he saw the documentary, he still felt happy and proud of what he has accomplished so far.
In fact, he has not been timid about sharing the change in his viewership over the years, with him even explaining why he fell off in his own YouTube video more than a year ago. He said he could not keep up with being the “‘Fortnite’ guy,” and felt like he was “arrogant” at one point without the skill to back the vibe up.
However, he also did take some moments to reflect about losing some viewership.
“‘The most consistent thing you did was be inconsistent in what you wanted to do.’ I mean… Yeah. I’m not gonna lie, it’s really hard for me to determine what… I actually want to do in the industry,”Myth stated. “I think, a lot of the time, there hasn’t really been enough time for me to sit down with myself and genuinely think about that. Just because I have to stream every day. I can’t not stream every day.”
