YouTuber Asmongold has responded to the statement of “OnlyFangs” guild leader and fellow content creator sodapoppin warning about and forbidding the former from reacting and rebroadcasting the “World of Warcraft” Classic Hardcore raid.
“I mean, that’s just the way it is. ‘Soda takes his [thing] very seriously.’ I mean, we’ll see what happens. All right?” Asmongold said in his recent stream earlier on Tuesday.
Previously, sodapoppin issued a warning against those not in the guild who wish to react and rebroadcast the raid, explicitly citing content creators like Asmongold and xQc.
sodapoppin said, “I’m giving you a warning beforehand. Yeah, Asmon can’t react. No, not allowed. xQc, you’re not in the guild, well, you’re also not going to watch the raid. You can watch it later after it’s done. Sure! I’m forbidding anyone from reacting to the raid that’s not in the guild. You will not benefit from this guild that you did not participate in, at all!”
The Twitch streamer added that he is not “going to have someone join the raid last second,” referring to those who have not partaken anything in the guild and just want to join when the raid is about to begin.
Asmongold’s content mainly focuses on “World of Warcraft,” but he also covers other video games and topics related to gaming culture.
Meanwhile, sodapoppin is a Twitch streamer and YouTuber who started out as a “World of Warcraft” streamer. As of press time, he has around 8.9 million followers on Twitch.
“World of Warcraft” is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, or MMORPG, by Blizzard Entertainment. Classic Hardcore realms in “World of Warcraft” challenge gamers to play the game in a completely new way.
