Previously, we here at Popculturizm reported how MrBeast wore a Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey during the team’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.
This time, the YouTuber has actually signed a two-day $10 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But, read on to find out about the catch.
It was actually just a stunt for his recent YouTube video. MrBeast did not actually receive the $10 million. Instead, he dressed up as a player and stormed onto the field during the Week 7 game of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers versus the Atlanta Falcons in front of a staggering 60,000 fans.
In other words, he just wanted to show his viewers how much a person with that job would earn. In the video, he compared jobs with vastly different salaries. He began with gold panning, which, according to MrBeast, could make you earn as little as $1 a year.
His team also dug up dinosaur bones for a museum, engaged in astronaut training with NASA, tried hand modeling, and flew a plane, all with various salary ranges. The highest-paying career featured in the video was the job of an NFL player.
“The final job is the craziest thing I’ve ever done, I still can’t believe they let us do that lol,” Mr Beast stated.
As an NFL player, he, of course, had to do a series of weight training exercises, too. His stunts, once again, impressed his viewers, though the $10 million salary isn’t actually for real.
“The amount of commitment and time this man puts into entertaining his viewers is insane,” commented YouTube netizen @hakimalasaty.
