Thanksgiving is this Thursday already! Can you believe it? How time flies fast.
Millions of Americans are looking forward to celebrating this special occasion this week, and this TikToker is sharing some interesting rules you might want to follow this Thanksgiving, from bringing your own toilet paper to rules on bringing leftovers home.
Jermaine Dawson from North Carolina, who says he is a car salesman, took to TikTok to share what believes are rules that Thanksgiving revelers must adhere to and “should know” before going to any Thanksgiving function.
Let’s run these rules down from five to the number one.
Number five, Dawson said that if you are not bringing anything to the function, you cannot take anything home.
“Don’t forget that,” he said.
He also said that you cannot use the bathroom without bringing any extra toilet tissue or anything.
Number three, the car salesman said you should not bring extra guests without informing the host that you are bringing extra guests.
The number two rule is “very crucial” for him. If you plan on praying over the food, just pray over the food.
“Stop praying for all the other stuff, you can do that later,” Dawson added.
Rounding out those five rules is, “If you don’t know how to make macaroni and cheese, don’t volunteer in the group chat, Snapchat, Twitter – I don’t care where it is.”
Will you follow those rules? Oh maybe, he’s just too excited for Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving!
