For the latest video of sensational YouTuber MrBeast, there were no expensive stunts this time, but something braver – to be buried alive for seven days.
The latest content of MrBeast on YouTube sponsored by telecommunications company Verizon had him attempting to break his own record he set in 2021 when he was buried alive for 50 hours, or around two to three days. So, that was not the first time he was buried alive.
This time, the 25-year-old YouTuber was encased in a transparent coffin where his crew could see him via cameras and talk to him via walkie-talkies.
This is not a usual challenge, so he had food and water supplies with him to help him last the seven days, but it proved to be far mentally tasking than he had thought.
Interestingly, after the last day had lapsed, he was freed from the casket and all that dirt, but he started crying. He admitted he did not understand why he cried.
He succeeded in the challenge, but there was a concern previously that he might not be able to stand up properly since he might have developed blood clots in his legs.
Luckily, that did not happen. The doctor gave him the green light to go ahead and celebrate his success in this challenge. And, he gained more subscribers to his YouTube channel.

To be number 1 on YouTube
However, those are still not enough to have him overtake the reigning channel on YouTube based on the number of subscribers, Indian music label T-Series. T-Series has around 253 million subscribers, while MrBeast only has around 212 million subscribers, as of press time.
But recently, MrBeast asked his supporters in India to help him clinch the top spot.
“With the upcoming sub race with T-Series, I just want to make clear I love my fans from India and this has nothing to do with countries,” he wrote. “I just want to be #1 most subscribed, haha,” he tweeted.
