‘You’re Endangering A Bunch Of People!’: Twitch Streamer xQc Warns Trolls Who Swatted Him On His Birthday

Félix Lengyel, better known on Twitch and Kick as xQc, has issued a stark warning to his trolls who swatted him and sent the police to his old houses to “surprise” him on his birthday.

Swatting is a criminal harassment act in which the perpetrators will deceive an emergency service into sending a police or an emergency service response team to the address of their victims.

The Twitch and Kick streamer celebrated his 28th birthday last November 12th. The celebrations would have been fun, except for the acts of his trolls who tried disrupting this momentous occasion in his life by getting him swatted.

In one of his recent broadcasts, xQc, who is also a former Overwatch League pro, said he wasn’t affected by those swatting attempts, but those who live in his old houses were, and he is concerned about them.

“This is the second year in a row that somebody tries to swat me on my birthday. You need to understand I don’t live there anymore,” xQc told his trolls. “You’re sending the police to houses that I don’t live in. You’re endangering a bunch of people!”

The Canadian streamer also warned that the police were not going to mess around and that his trolls would be held accountable for putting some lives at risk.

xQc is a widely recognized streamer, but he initially gained fame as a professional Overwatch player. He has over 11 million followers on Twitch, as of press time.
