Are you also one of those fascinated by the rings of planet Saturn? Well, they will always do fascinate people as this planet looks unique than any other planet in the solar system because of its rings.
Saturn is the second largest planet of the solar system according to mass and size. It is also the sixth nearest planet in distance to the Sun.
In the night sky, this planet is easily visible to the naked eye as a non-twinkling point of light. But, when viewed using a small telescope, for instance, Saturn, encircled with its magnificent rings – made up of chunks and ice and rock coated with materials like dust – is undoubtedly the most sublime object in the solar system
However, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration or NASA said that by 2025, Saturn will tilt in a certain way as it orbits the Sun, obscuring its iconic rings from view. The “tilt angle” will “drop to zero” by March 23rd, 2025.
Obviously, since the planet is 746 million miles away at its closest to Earth, this position means its rings will temporarily disappear from sight.
“It is all because of climate change and ecological man-made disaster in the depths of the ocean. Stop this crime against humanity!” commented Facebook netizen Ričardas Savukynas when they heard about this story.
Meanwhile, some netizens like Ma Jay are injecting some jokes to this fact, saying that this may be a “sign of divorce.”
