Markiplier In ‘Five Nights At Freddy’s 2’ Movie?

Even if viewers did not get to see gaming content creator Markiplier in the new “Five Nights at Freddy’s” movie, since he had to decline the offer for the role because of schedule conflicts, a writer from entertainment website Screen Rant is hopeful that the creator will finally make it to the movie’s sequel.

Markiplier in the sequel?

Screen Rant’s Danil Kessel Odom wrote a very interesting article on Screen Rant, titled “Five Nights At Freddy’s Scrapped Markiplier Cameo Means A Better FNAF2 Role Can Happen” that explored the possibility of the content creator becoming part of the movie’s sequel.

“After scrapping his cameo in the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, Markiplier has the potential to fill a much better role in the sequel,” Odom wrote. “While [his turning down the offer] is disappointing for fans of the video game franchise, it opens up the possibility that he could take on a much bigger role in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’s story.”

What could be his role in the sequel?

The “Five Nights at Freddy’s” movie, distributed by Universal Pictures and shown beginning October 27th, is based on a video game wherein the player takes the role of a nighttime employee who must do everything to defend themselves against the hostile animatronic characters that roam their workplace.

The movie has seen cameos from some of Markiplier’s fellow content creators like CoryxKenshin, MatPat, Bazamalam, and more.

Fans would have seen Markiplier in the movie as a security guard appearing in the beginning, which is just fitting as he has hundreds of videos about the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” game collected in a playlist that has hundreds of millions of streams.

It may sound absurd, but the Screen Rant writer is already theorizing Markiplier’s appearance in the sequel, which Odom said is in the works, saying that by that time, his other project would have ended.

Furthermore, Odom is also hopeful that Markiplier can play the role of Jeremy Fitzgerald, a security guard who is a major character in the story. So, it is not a cameo. But we’ll have to wait and see.
