Huda Kattan Announces She’s Donating $1 Million To Humanitarian Organizations In Gaza

Iraqi-American content creator, businesswoman, and founder of the Huda Beauty brand Huda Kattan is firm on her stance and support for the Palestinian side of the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

This week, the 40-year-old influencer announced that she is donating $1 million to two humanitarian organizations in Gaza. These organizations are Human Appeal and Doctors Without Borders.

“Our Huda Beauty brands, including Huda Beauty, Kayali and WISHFUl, will be donating $1 million to humanitarian organizations in Gaza,” Kattan said in a statement.

Human Appeal is a non-profit organization that works around the world to strengthen humanity’s fight and struggle against poverty, social injustice, and natural disaster.

Meanwhile, Doctors Without Borders is an international medical humanitarian organization known for its projects in conflict zones and in nations affected by endemic diseases.

“It’s been a [month] of immense suffering in Gaza, and unfortunately things are getting worse,” Kattan added. “It’s important that we always stand on the side of the oppressed and use our platform to shed light on any injustice. We cannot stand by and pretend like this is not happening.”

Popculturizm previously reported Kattan airing a statement for Gaza, which raised the ire of her Israeli fans.

The entrepreneur also asked fans to suggest some brands they think can be part of this initiative.

Kattan is a makeup artist, beauty blogger, and entrepreneur. Her Huda Beauty brand has become a global sensation, retailing in stores like Sephora and Harrods.
