Argentine Fans Of Taylor Swift Have Been Camping Out For 5 Months To Get Front Row Seats In Her ‘Eras Tour’ Concert

As a fan, how far would you go to make sure you see your favorite celebrity up close and personal? Will you camp out overnight near the venue? Are you going to be an early bird in the venue, say 12 hours before the doors open?

Well, whatever your answer, perhaps none of what you’d like to do compares to what these Swifties in Argentina are doing. They are proving they love the artist so much…

… so much that they are willing to camp out near Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” concert venue, and they have been camping out since June. That’s around five months already!

5 months of camping out

Argentinian Swifties – Swift’s fandom name, like the ARMYs for BTS – have set up tents outside the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires to make sure they get the front row seats.

Pitchfork, a website that publishes music-related content, reported that hundreds of fans are already waiting for the doors to open on the big night, each taking turns to occupy the tents outside the venue.

Wait up, are the seats not reserved upon they buy their tickets, you ask?

Well, here’s the system in the show’s Argentina leg. Unlike Swift’s shows in the United States, there will be no floor seating. The floor section has been split into three different standing sections, namely front standing left, front standing right, and general admission. Many of the fans camping out have general admission tickets, which are not reserved seating.

One of the fans spoke with the media, sharing how she is lying to her dad about her camping out. She said, “I usually tell my dad I’m at a park [drinking] with somebody, or visiting a friend of mine who lives near the stadium.”

Sold out shows

You may have perhaps already heard about Swift’s newest “The Eras Tour” concert. “The Eras Tour” is currently happening worldwide. It is her most expansive tour yet, with 149 dates across five continents. It features all the “eras” in her musical career.

According to Billboard, it is the highest-grossing tour ever by a woman. It has produced countless sold out shows. No wonder the Swifties are behaving this way.

Swift is stopping by countries like the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Singapore, Canada, and more.

“The Eras Tour’s” leg in Argentina started on November 9th and will run until November 11th. Three different shows.
