Now here’s another feud between content creators that’s comparable to the Taylor-Swift-and-Katy-Perry feud.
As some of you may know, “Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper ended her friendship and business ties with her former co-host in the show, Sofia Franklyn.
Cooper shared more details about this issue when she guested at Barstool Sports. Hosted by Tom Scibelli, Kevin Clancy, and John Feitelberg, Barstool Sports is a sports and pop culture blog. “Call Her Daddy” is presented by Barstool Sports.
The “Call Her Daddy” host made a brief appearance on the show since she was also visiting the New York City office of Dave Portnoy’s media company. As some of you may recall, Portnoy acquired “Call Her Daddy” after he discovered it on Instagram.
Cooper, 29, revealed that her friendship with Franklyn, 31, “was going to end” despite their much talked about contract blowout at Barstool Sports.
“We had personal conversations, this… was so bad [behind-the-scenes] like it was going to end,” Cooper told the Barstool Sports hosts.
When one of the hosts asked whether her relationship with Franklyn was “toxic,” she responded with a yes.
“It was time,” she went on. “And I think it’s great we’re now both doing our own things.”
These two podcasters – and ex-BFFs – hosted the popular show together for two years before they parted ways because of a contentious contract renegotiation in 2020.
Now, Franklyn is hosting her very own podcast titled “Sofia With an F.”
