Halloween may be over, but this story should bring out some chills. Two friends oddly received calls from each other when they didn’t make these calls.
The instance was shared by Maddie on her TikTok and YouTube, freaking her out.
Last October – yes, Halloween season – she was in her parents’ house in Iowa — and the house appears haunted — when she got a text from her friend one morning.
When she woke up, Maddie saw there was a missed call from her friend, Sydney, that came in at 3:20 a.m. There was also a voicemail that was five seconds silent, but somebody said, “Hello,” according to the transcription.
Maddie was sharing screenshots of the conversation on her TikTok video.
She also showed that Sydney texted her asking, “You good?” Confused, Maddie replied back asking what her friend meant.
Maddie thought that maybe her friend was tipsy, and did not mean to make a call, text and leave a voicemail. When Sydney responded to her, that’s when things got really weird.
According to Sydney, Maddie was the one who called. In other words, Sydney also received a “call” from Maddie. Both calls happened at the same time. Plus, Sydney also received a five-second voicemail from her friend.
Creepy, isn’t it?
Maddie reached out to her friends working in Verizon to ask if they encountered something like this before, but they never this is the first time it ever happened.
