Cats are adorable creatures. Quite a usual fact. But for cats to have a net worth? Unbelievable.
Not just that, but there’s this cat with a net worth higher than many A-list celebrities. What?! True story.
That cat has to be Olivia Benson, Taylor’s Swift pet cat, who now has a net worth of a whopping $97 million, making Olivia the world’s third richest pet. Wait, there’s a listing of the world’s richest pets? True story.
Swift is really a cat lover. The singer has starred in the 2019 movie adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Weber’s hit musical, “Cats.”
She has also showcased her cat, Olivia, particularly, in her music videos, such as in her “Blank Space” music video.
Olivia, a Scottish Fold, just trailed behind Nala, an Instagram cat star, who came in second place, and a German Shepherd named Gunther VI from Italy, crowned the world’s richest pet, according to All About Cats.
Curious about how Swift’s cats are earning money? We are, too. According to Cats.com, which holds the list of the world’s richest pets, Olivia got her success from being an Instagram influencer.
“The Scottish Fold earned her fortune starring alongside her owner in several music videos, has crafted her own merchandise line, and has had cameos in many big-budget ads, including for the likes of Diet Coke and Ned Sneakers,” the website said.
The singer also has another Scottish Fold, named Meredith Grey, also said to have a considerable net worth.
