A rematch between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz could be possible, but the two fighters have differing opinions about it.
You know that the two met in Dallas, Texas in August, and put on an impressive bout that had Paul winning by unanimous decision. Just like how fans are wanting a rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr., a rematch between Paul and Diaz also went abuzz after their August fight.
According to a post by boxing content editor Michael Benson on X, an official offer has been extended.
“PFL have now made Jake Paul and Nate Diaz an official offer for an MMA rematch, Jake’s Most Valuable Promotions have stated. They said Jake has accepted this offer, while Nate is calling for a boxing rematch instead,” the post said.
Paul accepting the offer is not a surprise for many, as the 26-year-old had suggested that as a possibility even before the two stepped in the boxing ring.
But, if both men agreed to meet in MMA, things could get really massive.
Netizens and fans also shared their thoughts about this.
“Nate is a MMA fighter, so why is he asking for a boxing rematch?” posted Brownie Bull on X.
Meanwhile, another X user, Liam Freeman, who is also a boxing expert, said he is “not surprised” that “Nate is ducking the goat.”
