In Middle Eastern countries, witnessing explosions in the surroundings, whether these are from terrorist attacks or just mishaps in factories, is seemingly very common.
Certainly, you have heard about the latest issue buzzing around between Israel and Palestine, and in light of these incidents, a netizen recalled a romantic wedding photoshoot in Lebanese capital Beirut interrupted by an explosion. Lebanon is also a country in the Middle East.
In the video shared by Michael Yo on Facebook, a couple was in the middle of their romantic photoshoot – the guy and the girl glammed up and dolled up in their wedding attires – when a loud explosion just behind them came in.
The person with the camera that time vividly captured those moments. It showed the couple having their sweet and peaceful moments during the photoshoot for a few seconds, without any idea of the incident popping in.
They were standing in front of a store named “Brassica” when, suddenly, an explosion erupted from the building behind them.
A few seconds before the explosion, the bride noticed as her facial expression suddenly changed, but there was nothing the couple could do.
Fortunately, the couple and all people close by were safe.
Netizens are saying in the comments section that this was part of the August 4th, 2020 incident in Beirut.
During that time, a considerable amount of ammonium nitrate the Port of Beirut stored exploded, causing at least 218 deaths, 7,000 injuries, and $15 billion in property damage, as well as leaving around 300,000 people homeless.
However, netizens’ insights were mixed if that explosion the couple went through was really part of the 2020 incident.
