The battle to become the most-followed influencer on social media is raging!
MrBeast may have secured the top spots as one of the most-subscribed accounts on YouTube (just trailing behind Indian record label, T-Series) and as Forbes’ top content creator, but the influencer has not been performing that well on TikTok.
Currently, TikTok’s most-followed accounts belong to (in descending order based on the number of followers) Khabane Lame, Charli D’Amelio, Bella Poarch, and Addison Rae. MrBeast is just on the fifth rank.
But, looking at the number of followers MrBeast has got on TikTok side by side with Rae, it seems that the former is soon about to overtake the latter.
As of press time, MrBeast’s followers on TikTok stand at 88.3 million, while Rae’s are at 88.6 million. With only around 300,000 follower difference, MrBeast might just overtake Rae sooner or later.
MrBeast’s TikTok follower count surge is partly credited to fellow content creator NoahGlennCarter who issued a challenge back in May to follow MrBeast on TikTok so he will be the first person ever to be the most-followed on two of the biggest social media platforms in the world.
“If we help him get to number one, he will be breaking a record that’s never been broken before…” NoahGlennCarter said.
MrBeast is a YouTuber whose content center on expensive stunts and challenges, while Rae is a social media personality, singer, actress, and dancer.
