These Parents Have The Greatest Idea To Make Kids Help In House Cleaning

Are you also among those parents who find it difficult to tell kids to help in cleaning the house? Well, you are not alone.

According to a survey published on The Wall Street Journal in 2015, only 28 percent of adults, parents in the United States require children to do some household chores.

Indeed, it is very tricky, especially that as youngsters, they love it better when they play with their toys.

But not with parents Dean and Kelsey Shackley.

In a video they shared on Instagram, these parents are suggesting a great way to make your kids help in house cleaning.

They actually gave their four kids cleaning wipes, and told them that whoever had the dirtiest wipe gets to decide what they would do all weekend.

You can watch the video via this link.

It’s like hitting two birds with one stone, right? Those parents did not only urge their kids to help in the cleaning, but they also ensured everybody in the family would have fun during the weekend.

The Instagram video has already garnered thousands of likes as of press time. It was even featured on LADbible’s Facebook page.

Dean is a realtor, while Kelsey is a lifestyle mentor “helping moms flatten their tummy,” according to her Instagram account

Instagrammer @somethinboutsunshine said the idea is “genius.”

Meanwhile, another Instagrammer who goes by the handle @krystle1023 on the platform quipped, “Wonder if this would work on my husband as well (emoji)”

Would you want to take these parents’ great idea for your kids?
