Internet Left Divided After McDonalds Announces The McRib Will Return Soon

The McRib from McDonald’s is undoubtedly one of the most talked-about sandwiches on the chain’s menu. Despite its periodic appearances and disappearances from the McDonald’s menu over the years, it’s now gearing up for another comeback.

The McRib will only be available at select locations for a limited time, so fans of this delectable sandwich will need to act quickly to get their hands on it.

Although the McRib has consistently been one of McDonald’s most sought-after offerings, customer reactions to its return have been a mixed bag. People have taken to the internet to express their differing opinions on just how tasty they find the McRib.

The McRib is set to return to participating McDonald’s restaurants in November.

The McRib first made its debut at McDonald’s across the United States back in 1981. This sandwich features barbecue sauce, pork ribs, pickles, and onions nestled between a long bun.

It has been taken off the menu on several occasions, only to reappear in 2020 after an eight-year absence. Since then, it has made periodic comebacks. In 2022, the McRib even embarked on a “farewell tour,” delighting those who have savored its unique flavor over the years.

Although its “farewell tour” has long concluded, the McRib is poised to make yet another return at participating locations this November. While many McDonald’s patrons are enthusiastic about the sandwich’s return, others are less pleased.

Following the announcement of the McRib’s return, disgruntled McDonald’s enthusiasts took to the internet to voice their displeasure, demanding, “We don’t want that nonsense; bring back the snack wrap.”

Many others concurred, expressing a preference for McDonald’s to reintroduce the chicken snack wrap, which includes a variety of sauces, cheese, and lettuce.

One individual even characterized the McRib as unappetizing and called for McDonald’s in the United States to add better menu items, stating, “The McRib is so unappealing. Why can’t we have new food items that other countries offer? We can’t even get a snack wrap anymore.”

However, some people welcomed the return of the McRib, remarking, “I’m glad we can all enjoy eating it again. It’s a shame it’s not a permanent menu item.”

Others chimed in with excitement, exclaiming, “The McRib is back! Let’s do this!”

Meanwhile, one person playfully alluded to the sandwich’s intermittent appearances on the menu, jesting, “Not interested in this on-again, off-again relationship, lol.”
