Previously, renowned business magazine Forbes officially named its Top Creators for 2023, and we reported it right here. This time, yesterday, particularly, the magazine also unveiled its list of the world’s top fashion influencers.
“Over the past decade, digital fashionistas have gone from viral sensations to social media savants to chic powerbrokers,” Forbes said. Today, fashion creators serve as global ambassadors for legendary labels and launch million-dollar brands of their own (think Emma Chamberlain, Bretman Rock, or the D’Amelios). Influencers are now sitting in the front row at couture shows and on the boards of iconic fashion brands.”
Leading the list on the number one spot is Emma Chamberlain, an American social media personality, businesswoman, model, YouTuber, and podcaster.
“Chamberlain has gone from sharing videos of her baking fails to become a smashing fashion success,” the magazine said. “The early YouTube pioneer has evolved into a formidable name in lifestyle and one of the first influencers to ink deals in the luxury space, starting with Louis Vuitton.”
Trailing just behind Chamberlain is Dutch makeup artist and beauty YouTuber, Nikkie de Jager, more popularly known by her channel on the video sharing platform, NikkieTutorials.
De Jager is not just known for her channel’s star-studded guest roster that includes the likes of Lady Gaga and Selena Gomez, but she has also inked sponsorship deals with brands like Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger, among many others.
The rest of Forbes’ Top 10 fashion influencers are, in proper order, starting from rank three, Chiara Ferragni, Charli D’Amelio, Madison Beer, Zoe Sugg, Bretman Rock, Cindy Kimberly Rubira Adsuar, Camila Coelho, and Sofia Richie.
