Dixie D’Amelio Reminisces ‘Rough Time’ During ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Dixie D’Amelio chose to be honest during Wednesday’s episode of “The D’Amelio Show” and shared her sentiments during her relatives’ stint in “Dancing with the Stars.”

During the episode, which was titled “There’s So Many Sides to This Story,” the 22-year-old social media personality shared how she harbored some “resentment” toward some members of her family because of what happened when her younger sister, Charli, and her mom, Heidi, participated in “Dancing with the Stars.”

Dixie shared how her parents went through a “rough time,” and how she “ended up in the middle of it.”

“I mean, I hate that I feel resentment towards Charli, but I handled everything on my own — all sides,” she said. “I became the middle person of this whole situation from talking to her and my dad, and my mom, my cousin, my aunt — like everyone was talking to me.”

She added how she was dealing with everybody’s relationship that time and going through a breakup simultaneously.

Her mom, Heidi, was one of the celebrity participants in the 31st season of “Dancing with the Stars.” Her sister, Charli, was also among the contenders during that season, and bagged the title.

Heidi also spoke up about her “Dancing with the Stars” experience, saying that things “took some time” to return to normal after she and her daughter were on the reality dance show.

She said how she and Charli “were so checked out” during the show’s run, while Marc, the father, and Dixie were together all the time. She added how she and Dixie “fell out of touch” during that time.

“Unless you’ve done Dancing with the Stars, it sounds crazy. It took some time to settle back into. It didn’t take that much time, but it did take some navigating, because I felt like — when you do something so intense for so many months, I grew so much as a person. So, I’m coming back into our family feeling like I have so much more to give,” Heidi added.
