Markiplier, who goes by his real name Mark Fischbach, is a famous YouTuber known for his gaming content. He is popular for his videos that share his insights on indie horror games, like “Five Nights at Freddy’s.”
He also has almost 36 million subscribers to his YouTube channel, and he makes sure these subscribers are always updated. He is pretty active on the platform until lately when fans noticed he is not uploading videos too much.
But Markiplier’s fans should not worry, as the gaming influencer made sure they are also updated as to why fans saw him absent from the platform. Quits?
Markiplier recently posted a short video giving his followers an update on where he is. He revealed he is currently visiting his family in Korea to celebrate the Korean national holiday known as Chuseok. Chuseok, otherwise known as Hangawi, is Korea’s version of Thanksgiving. It is celebrated every August 15th, but it happened in September this year.
But that does not mean fans will have to be left hanging for so long. The gaming influencer added that he is planning to create additional content aside from his usual gaming videos, and these content will explore his Korean ancestry. Pretty exciting, right?
“I want to really get in touch with who I am, and I wanna invite you along for the journey. I want you guys to also see Korean culture and explore Korean heritage as I’m learning it,” Markiplier said.
