‘Don’t Watch Their Videos’: This Influencer Gets Slammed After Posting Her Drawers Filled With Skincare Products

Do you like buying tons of skincare products and sharing them online? You might need to think twice as this influencer is getting slammed by netizens after posting a video revealing her drawers of skincare products.

A screenshot of the video was shared on Reddit’s r/Anticonsumption forum showing the influencer’s to walls of skincare products. Her shelves are filled with products in bottles made of plastics and metals, prompting netizens to scratch their heads if they even get used before their expiry.

According to TRVST, a social justice platform, beauty packaging amounts to 120 billion units of trash yearly, including plastics, papers, glasses, and metals are that recycled improperly and end up in landfills – even if influencers like the one shared on Reddit retain those products for several years before discarding them. 

Netizens who saw the post were upset by her collection, which is just too much, telling others not to watch these influencers’ videos.

“Don’t watch their videos. Don’t give them any attention,” said one Redditor in the comments section. 

Meanwhile, other netizens pointed out that the influencer’s promotions may be to blame for the huge number of products she has collected.

“A lot of influencers and celebrities get [tons of items] for free. I think at least [50 percent] of these walls are PR packages. It’s not like it’s a good thing, but I honestly don’t know what I would do if I was showered with products on a daily basis,” commented No_Charge_6256.
