‘I Cried Like A Baby’: Dad Of 6 Gifted With A Car After Being Seen Biking 16 Miles Everyday To Work

Hard work absolutely paid off for this father of six in California who received a free car from companies who found out that he had been biking 16 miles to his workplace everyday.

“I cried like a baby,” the dad, Isaac Taylor, said after seeing the car that he now owns.

You can watch a video of this news below.

Taylor works as a security guard to provide for his six kids, aged three to 19 years old. He got a car before but it got totaled in an accident six months ago, so he was forced to cycle several miles to his workplace daily.

“Tears of joy. Tears of feeling the pain of riding the bike back and forth. It all set in — what I went through to get to where I’m at now,” he stated.

He received a newly restored 2019 Hyundai Elantra – which is best known for its attractive looks, available turbocharged, and lots of other amazing features – from companies, namely Caliber Collision Roseville, Travelers Insurance, and Family Promise of Sacramento, in collaboration with the NABC Recycled Rides Program.

When Family Promise of Sacramento learned that Taylor had been biking miles to his workplace each day, the leader of this non-profit wrote a letter on his behalf to secure him the car.

“It’s amazing, I’m living the dream right now. This is my best life right now,” said Taylor.
