In the recent video posted on YouTube by MrBeast, known as one of the most subscribed content creators on the video sharing platform, he was able to try the rarest and most expensive cars in the world. Well, actually, cars worth from $1 to a whopping $100 million.
MrBeast’s video, which he titled “$1 Vs $100,000,000 Car!,” he test drove various types of cars in different price ranges, beginning with a $1 junk car to a Ferrari pegged at $100 million. He drove the Ferrari 125 S, the first-ever Ferrari ever made.
The Ferrari 125 S, also referred to as 125 Sport, was a 1.5-liter race car built in 1947 by Modena, Italy’s Ferrari, and is its first vehicle. It is interesting to note that only two units were made.
“This was the very first car to wear the Ferrari badge,” Ferrari’s official website stated. “The V12 engine was designed by Gioacchino Colombo with contributions from Giuseppe Busso and Luigi Bazzi. Sport and competition versions of the 125 S were built with different bodywork although the chassis and running gear of the cars remained basically identical.”
The car maker added that initially, the car was “a promising failure,” as Enzo Ferrari, the founder of the Ferrari automobile marque, termed it. The car had to be pulled out due to an issue with the fuel pump while leading the race. However, shortly after, it was back on track, and even won races.
MrBeast shared the experience driving this car, saying, “This car is so historic and valuable that this museum representative is the only person on Earth allowed to drive it. It’s only allowed to be driven on this bridge. We had cops completely close the roads and we even had street cleaners fill in every pothole and clean the entire street to ensure that nothing damages this $100,000,000 car.”
Aside from test driving those cars, the YouTuber also tested their features, too.
“I have no idea why the last car was so expensive,” MrBeast wrote in the video’s caption.
