Youtube vlogger Boogies2988 has got a new girlfriend. And, according to the Youtuber Doicrunch, she is 20 years old. Although this is perfectly legal, it has led to some criticisms of Boogie, seeing as he is almost 50 years old. In other words, he is far more than double her age.
The news of the pair dating spread after Boogie was pretty open about their relationship on his social media profiles. In particular, he mentioned her a lot on his Twitter page.
Speaking on Reddit, one person was clearly disgusted by the scenario and wrote: “Dating” or is he her new sugar daddy? Boogie always comes up with explanations for how he meets these early 20 year old girls. We know he uses sugar daddy sites. And he’s also “dated” a number of girls like this. They’re both adults blah blah blah, but when you’re regularly going after girls who are about 30 years younger than you then that says a lot about the person.”
Not only this but his social media pages were bombarded with similar comments, with some being far more blunt. However, the top comment on the above Youtube video simply said, “They’re both adults. It doesn’t matter.”
For Boogie2988 at least, this is a fair point. Overall, it will be interesting to see how this relationship plays out and where it goes.
