MoistCr1TiKal revealed on August 15 that his partnership with Twitch has come to an end. In what he describes as a mutually agreeable decision, both he and Twitch have amicably concluded their contractual association. This departure was elucidated in a YouTube video titled “Goodbye Twitch,” where MoistCr1TiKal shared the details of his exit.
Addressing his departure, Charlie, as he is known, clarified, “I am bidding farewell to Twitch, albeit not in the conventional sense. My partnership contract with Twitch has been amicably terminated, by mutual consent.”
He expressed gratitude towards the Amazon-affiliated platform for allowing him the opportunity to end the contract ahead of schedule, despite the existence of “a substantial amount of time” remaining on the agreement.
“I desired the flexibility to stream on alternate platforms,” he explained, echoing sentiments he had previously shared this year regarding his intent to broadcast on multiple platforms. “Twitch was understanding and gave me their unwavering support, allowing me to diversify my streaming avenues. As a result, I am no longer exclusively tied to Twitch,” he conveyed.
However, it’s worth noting that this parting of ways was not triggered by his signing with a competing platform, at least not at this juncture. Instead, he asserted that his decision was primarily driven by his aspiration to explore different platforms and expand his creative horizons.
With his transition away from Twitch exclusivity, MoistCr1TiKal recently embarked on his inaugural YouTube live stream. Although he had previously engaged in streaming on YouTube, a significant portion of his live online presence has revolved around Twitch, where he began broadcasting even before the platform adopted its current name.
