Today saw Mr. Beast release a video, which was a $1 yacht vs a $1 billion yacht video. As seen by the screenshot below, the numbers do not lie – and this one was a very big performer. Achieving over 47 million views in its first 24 hours on Youtube, it also garnered 81,000 comments and over 2.6 million likes. Arguably, there is no one close to Mr. Beast right now in terms of generating such impressive numbers on the platform.
Overall, this shows the scale of his operation – and with a budget bigger than ever, it’s not too surprising that his lavish videos have captured the attention of millions. As a result, this was his best ever performing video within a 24 hour window.
However, unfortunately for him, it wasn’t quite the perfect video. Sadly, it was only the second best performing video within 24 hours on Youtube. Back in 2020, the K-Pop group BTS got over 101 million views for their music video Dynamite which went viral. In fairness to Mr Beast though, he doesn’t have a huge machine or corporate backing behind him like BTS. Watch the video below:
